Unfortunately, in honor of Easter, I taught my kids that "keester" is another word for "bum" and now that is all they say with the added phrase of "kiss my keester". I know, parenting at its finest. Today is such a great Easter Day. It's sunny and spring-y. Blake has had a surprising 4 day weekend thanks to a kind soul who noticed that he had a call shift in the middle of his weekend and offered to take it for him. I feel like I should buy her a "thank-you, you're awesome" gift because we needed it. We can't go anywhere because Lane still has school (Friday & Monday) but we are enjoying having some down time.
Lane decorated this bag at the Primary Easter Egg Hunt. Who knew a kid could turn crosses into a Star Wars Fighter Jet. Do you see it? It's like looking down onto it. And the white flower lilies things are the boosters. Made me LOL.
Paige had fun at the city Easter egg hunt. She did comment that "they weren't very good at hiding the eggs". It was more of an egg grab instead of egg hunt. She didn't complain when she found a golden egg and got to give it to the Easter bunny for a prize (Orange Snoopy w/ jelly beans). She wouldn't go near the Easter bunny before the golden egg. I guess she had a change of heart/greed.
I think the other thing that makes this day so special is that it's always on a Sunday and I can think of all the blessings our Savior has given us and the promise of a resurrection. I hope you all had a wonderful day. Happy Easter!

Looks like fun! Love the fighter jet! I wish it were warm and springy here, more like cold and windy.
