Boys: Lesson #1

Last night Paige and I were having a "girl moment" making a couple of baby bracelets for a baby shower I had today.  While we were making an all white one Paige asked if it was for the baby's wedding?
Me: "She's just a baby, she can't get married now. You have to be a grown up." I continued on with my teaching moment/lecture of marrying your best friend--has to be a boy--I'd like for him to be a Mormon--"But how will I know if he's Mormon"--you'll know, he needs to treat you nice, temple marriage, blah, blah, blah. I really thought I'd overdone it and lost my audience. Her next comment was...
P: "When you get married in the temple you don't have to kiss the boy if you don't want to.  You only have to say nice things to him."
Me: "You're right sweetie."  My thought process continued on in my head to say "Sometimes it's just easier to kiss him when you have nothing nice to say".

When did you become so smart?
It's nice to see you getting the interesting questions from your little girl. It's only just begun.
