Curtis-ized!

I'm not quite sure how to being this post.  I'm not sure if I even can get through it without my arm muscles going into spasms.  And I am now well aware that I have more than one arm muscle in each arm.  Let me explain...  I met this man.  Nice, great body.  (Don't worry, Blake has met him too.)  He is our new trainer at the YMCA.  Blake's been working out with him for over a week now at 5 am every morning.  I get to hear the horror stories at night as Blake sits, not really sure if he is able to move without groaning.  In my head I was always thinking, "I'm so glad I'm not you".  It all started last week for me.  While I was going through my own routine I laid down to do crunches.  If you've ever experienced vertigo (which I've been struggling with off and on for 2 years now) you know that you don't do this (lay flat).  It was all that I could do to get out of the gym without throwing up on people and knocking over benches. Anyway, I approached Curtis (a couple of days later) and asked for some other exercises to replace a few "laying down" ones.  After he answered my questions, stupid me, asked if there was anything that he thought I could add to my workout.  Slam.  So there I am today doing a bajillion reps. It's only a 5 lb. weight.  But it felt like 50 lbs. by the end.  So now I no longer exercise.  I just hurt.  He thinks I'm funny when I'm not really making jokes.  Ex: I tell him I don't think I'll be able to steer my car home.  (he laughs)  It's not a joke.

The only reason I can chuckle is because it hasn't happened to me yet. 4 more months and you guys will all be buff and I will just be starting. The only advantage is that I will have you 3 to haul my big butt around until I acclimate to being Curtis-ized.
